The Stephanie Joseph Memorial Fund was developed in loving memory of Stephanie Joseph who was a highly competitive figure skater and an inspiration to many. Three months away from a journalism degree at the University of Missouri, Stephanie lost her battle to soft tissue sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Stephanie’s friends and family founded SJMF in 2008 with the mission to improve the lives of children and young adults facing difficulties such as hers.
Improving the lives of children and young adults.
We will make a difference in the recipients’ lives for those challenged physically, emotionally, financially or medically.
We will help people that cannot accomplish a life dream or a goal because of these limitations.
Together, we want to recognize and support our future leaders. Those that fight against odds and work to improve our communities.
